Important message to captains, managers and marina industry experts

An invitation to share opinions and perspectives on the large yacht marina sector and major hubs such as Barcelona…

On 24th September 2019, during the afternoon prior to the start of the Monaco Yacht Show, the senior editors and analysts of The Superyacht Report are hosting a private and confidential think tank with a group of experts, comprising captains, yacht managers, owners’ representatives and stakeholders in relation to a unique piece of research on the superyacht hub, Barcelona.

This is a unique opportunity to share your ideas, opinions, experiences and expectations of the next generation of superyacht marinas, specifically focused on yachts over 50m. The meeting will be an open discussion delivered in the confidential setting of the Hotel Hermitage, to encourage an exchange of candid opinions in order to garner the industry’s overall perception of berthing in Barcelona, as well as providing a clear understanding of what captains, managers and owners expect from a market leading superyacht marina, set in the heart of an international city.

As we can see, the superyacht fleet continues to expand, and thus it is clear that the demand for large yacht berthing in key superyacht hubs is likely to increase and it is important to share your opinions on what you expect. Many marinas around the Mediterranean are investing heavily in facilities, services and variable berthing options in order to set themselves apart in the market and, as such, the standard of superyacht marinas is on the rise.

Our expert editorial team are looking to bring together a dynamic and experienced group of operators who are willing to provide a critical analysis of the current marina landscape and to explore its current proposition and debate what they would like to see in the future.

This think tank will take place from 16:30 – 18:00 on the 24th September at the Hotel Hermitage, Monaco. If you would like to participate please contact our Events Director, Emily Mincer, emilym@thesuperyachtgroup.com and provide details of your experience in the large luxury marina sector.
