Paul Sills

Paul  is an independent arbitrator, mediator and dispute board member based in London with Arbitra Intenational. Paul is a Fellow with CIArb and numerous other global associations. He is ranked as a global leader by WWL. Paul has an extensive background in the marine industry.

As a barrister Paul acted in numerous marine construction and superyacht construction disputes for both owners and boatyards. These include a wide range of conflicts including financing, construction, refit projects, paint defects, specification issues, contract termination, leasing and charter issues, variations, and liquidated damages claims.

Paul spent two years as CEO and managing director of a superyacht construction company with construction facilities in New Zealand and Australia. 

 Paul has acted on behalf of Caterpillar Finance (Asia-Pacific), firstly as the author of a report as to the operational and financial viability of an international superyacht company based in New Zealand and following that report then acting as company receiver on behalf of Caterpillar Finance (Asia-Pacific).

Paul is a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.
