Established in 1997 by Juan Kouyoumdjian, our office is involved in every aspect of the design of racing and cruising yachts, from conception and analysis through to final construction drawings.

A multicultural team based in Valencia, Spain, we are specialized in the design of high performance racing yachts.
We apply the most sophisticated design and engineering tools, from 3D (Three Dimensional) modelling to FEA (Finite Elements Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to create a solid basis for successful interaction with system suppliers, Project Managers, and builders. From this, a successful yacht will be born.

We had built up a reputation for creating innovative designs that leverage technological change and opportunities with imagination into breakthrough performance.

This is not luck. It is the result of our belief that the designer’s creativity identifies the starting points (at any level) and the possible paths of evolution, and then applies the power of the most advanced design and engineering technologies to validate his intuitions.

Deep knowledge and experience are at the centre of this process, because models can’t answer the questions that are not asked. The key decisions the designer makes pertain to what the tools cannot model. They are about what we can and want to model, not about the results the models yield.
There is still very much room for human creativity in solving complex problems elegantly.
