Knierim Yachtbau Gmbh

Knierim Tooling GmbH, founded in 2004, has its origin in Knierim Yachtbau GmbH, a Kiel, Germany based company with more than 40 years of tradition in boat building. Knierim uses its outstanding expertise in this field for the construction of large industrial components for wind turbines, planes, ships, submarines, and cars. From a first concept to a finished part Knierim covers the entire production process and is prepared to deliver master plugs, moulds, and, as the latest development, heatable direct tools for all purposes.

Knierim Tooling operates 3 customized 5-axis milling machines up to 34×8.5×4 meters. Moulds are build from GRP and CFRP by a hand laying technique or with vacuum infusion and prepreg technology.

Knierim‘s location directly at the Kiel Canal with a long deep water pier in front of the plant ensures that parts can be easily shipped all over the world.
