Albwardy Marine Engineering (L.L.C.)

Welcome to Albwardy Damen, a joint venture between Albwardy Investment, Dubai and the Damen Shipyards Group, Holland. Both family owned companies with a long history. We provide shipbuilding and ship repair services to the marine and oil and gas related industries in the Middle East. Founded in 1978, we celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2018.

Our services include new building of steel and aluminum vessels and repair and services of marine as well as O&G assets. Our services are offered in all major UAE ports and anchorages as well as in Oman (the Ports of Sohar and Salalah). In addition we offer offshore and afloat repair services to clients worldwide. Our diving division offers their services out of Fujairah including underwater hull cleaning.

We have a total workforce of around 1100 people of 26 different nationalities in our three UAE locations: Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah. With all key competences in-house, including an extensive engineering division, we repair and build vessels to the highest technical and environmental standards. We are certified by LRQA to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 as well as API Q1.
