We are delighted to be welcoming a highly experienced ex-Royal Navy Aviation Officer to the Safeguard Helideck Certification team.

Chris Lemon has had 24 years operational management experience within the Royal Navy, including time spent as a Maritime Aviation Certification Officer for the Military Aviation Authority (MAA) and a Flight Deck Officer on HMS OCEAN, responsible for the safe conduct of all operations and aircraft on the flight deck, ensuring safe and expeditious movement of aircraft to meet ship and squadron requirements. These, and many other skills will be put to good use in the coming weeks and months as the Helidecks team work to deliver the required Assessments and Certifications for our Superyacht clients. Chris joins us as a Senior Aviation Consultant and Lead Helideck Certification Officer. We will be keeping him busy as he supports both the Helideck Certification and the Ship/Air Integration areas of the business.

Welcoming Chris to the team Steve Beech, Director commented:

“Our work for the Superyacht community is increasing and we need the skills and experience of people like Chris to support ongoing and new client projects.  It is a pleasure to welcome him to the team and I know we will be keeping him busy.”
