Marina Ibiza has been one of the sponsoring companies of the first charity golf tournament of the Angel Nieto Foundation held in Ibiza. With more than 120 players, this event had two clear objectives, to raise the most money to allocate to families in Ibiza with few resources that have suffered the loss of a family member in a traffic accident and fight to prevent more accidents.
With optimal climatic conditions to play golf, all participants toured the 18 holes under the stableford mode with two categories in play. Marina Ibiza put the game balls that were given to the players and prizes for the winners.
The trophy delivery took place at night at the Chiringuito Blue in Santa Eulalia with the sea in the background.
A large number of gifts were raffled during dinner, including those offered by Marina Ibiza: vouchers to eat at restaurants inside the marina: Roto and Calma It was noteworthy the auction for the helmet of Valentino Rossi or Angel Nieto, as well as material provided by Marc Márquez and the Cristiano Ronaldo or Rafa Nadal shirts, which were the ones that obtained the most bids. At the end of the night, the total collected was € 28,002.
Both the organization, as well as the Foundation itself and its sponsors, have been very satisfied with this event that has only been the beginning of a project that promises to gather greater successes and celebrate every year from now on.
