The extraordinary beauty, simple lines and characteristic design of the J Class also exists in a mini version. Fourteen incredible boats belonging to the International Mini Js (Q-Class) arrived at STP Shipyard Palma in June in preparation for one of the Mediterranean’s most important regattas, the Copa del Rey.

For several days prior to the event, special cargo trucks arrived by road to the yard and carefully delivered - with the help of cranes handled by STP personnel – their precious loads. These iconic yachts came to have some fine-tuning work carried out before being launched back into the water for the racing ahead.

With classic lines or even a modern and cutting-edge design, these International Mini Js (Q-Class) boats later competed for the first time ever in the Bay of Palma. even though they’re veterans in the world of sailing after having been an Olympic class between 1908 and 1952.
