Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – July 13, 2016 – IGY Marinas today announced the opening of its newly-built fuel dock at National Harbor Marina. The much-anticipated installation now offers a state-of-the-art system, making the marina a premier destination for fuel in the upper Potomac region.
“IGY Marinas is thrilled to once again offer fuel accommodations at National Harbor Marina, especially now that the northeast is in high boating season,” said Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas. “Our marina team understands the importance of a reliable source for fuel within a major boating community, and we look forward to making it that much easier for them to continue doing what they enjoy.”
Now open to marina guests, the fuel dock features brand new fuel lines, a state-of-the-art piping system, and a new cloud-base authorization system that can accommodate up to four vessels at a time. The marina houses a total of four pumps – two of which offer 89 Mid-grade unleaded gasoline with no more than 10% ethanol, and two offering ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel capable of fueling at 15 gallons per minute. Fuel rates are available by contacting the marina directly. Fuel dock hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (including holidays). Appointments can be made for alternative times to accommodate the needs for all guests.
National Harbor Marina, an IGY destination, boasts more than 80 floating dock slips with the ability to accommodate yachts in excess of 150 feet in length with up to a 9-foot draft, and provides complimentary Wi-Fi, cable, water and refuse bins; security gate with pin code entrance; private shower and laundry facilities, and more.
