Global Yachting Group appoints Fides Nautical Advisory as sales agency to support its strategic growth plans in the European Superyacht finishing market
Palma, Mallorca, 14th November 2016: The Global Yachting Group (GYG) has announced the appointment of Fides Nautical Advisory (FNA) as sales agency partner for Europe. Fides Nautic based in Monaco brings over 30 years of experience in the high end nautical sector leveraging an established network of senior industry decision makers including leading designers, architects, yards and management companies throughout Europe.
The sales representation service will be led by FNA directors Marco Massabo and Marco Meneghini who are both experienced operators in the Superyacht market. Marco Massabo is a 30 year veteran salesman having been instrumental in the commercial development of Wally Yachts, Mariotti Shipyards and Cantalupi Lighting. Marco Meneghini has 20 years’ experience in sales network development and marketing strategy at Nautors Swan, San Lorenzo and Monaco Marine.

Since successfully securing private equity investment in March 2016, GYG has adopted an ambitious strategy to deliver growth in its core European new-build and refit markets. The appointment of FNA is a key component in the execution of this strategy with a brief to expand GYG´s presence in the leading European new-build yards and to drive sales across the Mediterranean refit sector.
