YACHTZOO is proud to announce that Nigel Beatty, one of the company’s highly experienced yacht brokers, has been named as the new Chairman for the Asia Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA).

Sharing his time between Tokyo, Japan and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Nigel has enormous experience of yachting in the Asia Pacific region. Having first trained in the Royal Navy, Nigel went on to be a captain of luxury charter yachts and private yachts across Asia, as well as the more traditional superyacht cruising grounds of the Mediterranean, the United States and the Caribbean.

Nigel founded land-based superyacht support company Super Yacht Logistics in 2004, which grew to a six-office operation across Asia, later acquired by a private investment firm. As a founding member of APSA, Nigel is a highly respected contributor to the Asia’s luxury yachting community, not to mention that of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

YACHTZOO, a member of APSA, congratulates Nigel on his new position on the board and wishes him the best of luck taking the reins from founding Chairman Colin Dawson.
