During the Monaco Yacht Show, the PYA will be hosting a programme of seminars featuring topics relevant to all departments of yacht crew. With a top line-up of speakers and experts, the PYA Monaco events have proven to be hugely popular over the years, and attract many crew, captains and industry professionals.

Following the success of previous events, the PYA Headline Day on Thursday 29th September will once again be held at the HQ of the International Hydrographic Organization which offers close proximity to the show and excellent seminar facilities.

The event is attended by many Captains, Senior officers, Heads of department, key media figures and decision-making industry professionals. The first session on Headline Day is the renowned ‘PYA Sea Changes Forum’ which will provide invaluable insights into the latest news and changes to the Superyachting industry. With experts from the MCA, RYA and PYA amongst others, this is theplace to be for the latest news on regulations, training and careers, direct from the horse’s mouth.  The second event, ‘Laying the blame: A Disaster at Sea’, promises to be a dramatic, high-energy session that involves the audience in analysing what went wrong and who’s to blame in a high-profile accident on-board. Not to be missed.

The seminars are followed by a networking reception on the stunning rooftop terrace of the IHO facilities, which has an unrivalled view over the port. This event providing the perfect opportunity to mingle over relaxed drinks.

This year, for the first time, the PYA is excited to announce that its other seminars will be taking place on the afternoons of the 28th and the 30th September in the ACREW crew lounge at the Rascasse, in the heart of the port. With a wide range of activities spanning across departments, there promises to be something for everyone.

The annual PYA table-setting competition will be taking place on-board participating yachts throughout the day on Wednesday 28th, with the winners being announced at the PYA Interior Sea Changes Seminar on Friday 30th.
