Kaohsiung, Taiwan – Horizon Yachts has yet again proved its ranking as Taiwan’s leading luxury yacht builder, and one of the top builders in the world, with the recent conclusion of the company’s two largest events of the year: the Horizon Yachts Open House and 2016 Taiwan International Boat Show, both of which took place March 10-13 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. During these events, Horizon debuted the RP120 superyacht – the largest yacht on display at the Taiwan show – as well as the FD85 fast displacement motoryacht, both of which were well-received for their innovative design, vast array of features, and spacious layouts. Horizon also showcased the E56 motoryacht, a performance-oriented motoryacht that has enjoyed global success as a high quality entry-level yacht.

“We enjoyed an extremely successful second Taiwan International Boat Show, an event we see growing in popularity both with our local market as well as other global markets,” said Horizon Yachts CEO John Lu. “Hosting our Horizon Yachts Open House during the Taiwan show gives us the opportunity to show our guests exactly why and how Horizon is the number one builder in Asia, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with clients as well as our current owners.”

Throughout the four day show, Horizon Yachts saw upwards of 14,000 guests through the RP120, FD85, and E56 luxury yachts, an increase in traffic compared to the 2014 show. The Horizon FD85 and E56 both went into the Taiwan Int’l Boat Show as sold luxury yachts and will soon be delivered to their owners in Japan and Taiwan, respectively. Horizon is currently working with a number of clients from around the world – USA, Mexico, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Spain to name a few – as a result of the show.

The Horizon Yachts Open House, a biennial event that celebrates Horizon’s success through the years, offers guests’ participation in an array of VIP events and activities; this year, Horizon hosted over 500 guests from around the world and provided private factory tours, VIP parties, a sightseeing excursion, full access to the Taiwan International Boat Show, and more.
