The 8th Edition of e3 Systems’ “Connecting You to Your Future” free technology seminars will take place at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on Friday November 6th. Leading industry experts will provide Captains, Yacht Brokers, Ship Yard Owners, Management companies, and Project Managers with an in depth insight into the very latest maritime communications for today, tomorrow and the future.
Roger Horner, Group Managing Director, e3 Systems Group, who will be hosting the second Communications Technology Seminar at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show comments: “We want to build on last year’s success. e3 Systems will be joined by other industry experts. The three hour seminar will be moderated by Roger Horner. First to present will be Ghani Behloul, Head of Product Management and Marketing from Airbus Defence and Space, the world’s largest maritime satellite communications provider. Ghani will be presenting on “What to expect for your future communications at sea; evolution or revolution?”
The second presentation will be from Håkan Olsson, Vice President, Maritime, Kymeta Corporation, the developers of flat-panel satellite solutions. During Håkan Olsson’s presentation, delegates will learn about “The future with flat panels – enabling satellite access for the world”, how flat panels will be opening up new mobile markets and details of when they will be commercially available.
The third and final presentation will be from e3 Systems, David Horacek, Vice President Direct Sales USA, who will talk about their current communication technology developments. He will introduce the synchronization of land and satellite communications using HYBRID, 3G/3G+/4G LTE aggregation, the importance of data monitoring and management, and why IPTV will replace digital satellite TV.
Copies of the presentations will be available, upon request. The afternoon will conclude with a 15 minute question and answer session, followed by a cocktail reception and networking.
The seminar will be held at the Bahia Mar Hotel from 14.00 to 17.00.
