During this year’s Monaco Yacht Show Pendennis will for the first time be joined by two iconic yachts from the Pendennis fleet, the recently launched restoration project Malahne and the bespoke new build explorer yacht STEEL.
The 55m STEEL will be presented for sale by Ocean Independence at Berth C05 on QUAI CHICANE. This is the first time since her launch from Pendennis in 2009 that this unique vessel has been available for viewing, having been enjoyed privately for the past six years.
STEEL is the largest volume motor yacht built by Pendennis to date, created to a design by Liebowitz & Pritchard Architecture & Yacht Design. Built to +100 AL Lloyds, 1a Ice Class, STEEL is also fully MCA compliant with long range capabilities.
The yacht contains many bespoke technologies and systems designed specifically for extensive exploration, complemented by a classically styled interior that provides comfort and luxury throughout.
Fresh from the shipyard earlier this year, 50m classic motor yacht Malahne will also be at anchor in Monaco during the show. Originally built in 1937 by Camper & Nicholsons, she was relaunched after a meticulous 30 month restoration in Falmouth by Pendennis and the combined project team of Edmiston, G.L.Watson and Oliver Laws Ltd. The impeccable detailing and use of traditional techniques to make her as close to her original design is great testament to Pendennis’ capabilities in the sympathetic restoration of classic yachts.
Malahne is one of the most detailed, distinctive and beautiful motor yachts to be restored and launched in recent decades, suitably reflective of an incredibly glamorous era of yachting. Malahne is available for charter through Edmiston.
