Monaco Yacht Show 2019: Crew

What's on offer for crew during MYS?  …

While traditionally an owner-centric show, Monaco Yacht Show has grown its offering to the crew sector over the years. Now, not only can crew use the show to catch up with exhibitors on the latest developments in their respective departments, but there are a number of seminars, workshops and events dedicated to crew over the course of the week.

One again, ACREW and International Marine Management (IMM) will be hosting an exclusive crew lounge at La Rascasse. The lounge is a dedicated space for crew to escape the show and enjoy complimentary food and beverages, as well as take part in interesting group discussions on relevant industry topics. Details of the lounge can be found by clicking here.

For those looking to start recording their sea service, Maritime union Nautilus International will be issuing Service Record Books at the show – crew just need to bring along a passport-sized photo and their passport to sign up. Nautilus representatives will also be holding clinics to discuss the benefits afforded to its members, including legal advice and assistance, industrial support when things go wrong and certificate protection. Details of Nautilus' activities at the show can be found by clicking here.

Monaco Yacht Show will also be hosting its Captains and Crew Lounge again, offering refreshments and entertainment to crews of yachts exhibiting inside Port Hercules. And, of course, there is also the opportunity to walk around the show, speak with exhibitors and view the latest technology, products and services on offer.
