On 21 October, the Italian shipyard Wider Yachts officially entered the superyacht market with the launch of its first superyacht, 45m WIDER 150. After two years of design and construction, the highly anticipated project left the construction shed at the Wider headquarters in Ancona and entered the water during a private ceremony attended by the shipyard's staff and technicians.

WIDER 150 will now be put through her paces during a thorough sea trial period, which will take place over eight to 10 weeks, before the yacht is finished.

Tilli Antonelli, founder and CEO of Wider Srl commented on the launch: “The technical nature of the launch did nothing to take away from the immense pride and profound satisfaction I felt at seeing a yacht that has occupied so much of our thoughts, focus and attention finally united with her natural habitat.

"It was also the first opportunity that any of us have had to view the yacht along her full profile. The coming weeks will see my team and I working very closely with the technical staff from our suppliers to ensure that every aspect of WIDER 150 meets the same level of excellence that we have worked to achieve so far.”

WIDER 150 is designed by Fulvo De Simoni in collaboration with Tilli Antonelli and the in-house Wider design team who have clearly focused on replicating the technological focus of the superyacht through the exterior profile. The yacht features a distinctive transom door, making WIDER 150 stand out from others in her class.



The diesel-electric propulsion system combined with Azimuthal is another aspect of this contemporary vessel which differentiates her from the rest of the fleet; a reliable and efficient system which results in a far better experience on board.



WIDER 150 is available for sale and on the market at €26,000,000.
