Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Italian furniture company Poliform, the Wallace lounge chair explores concepts of comfort and style by using leather and moulded flexible polyurethane to create a soft, organic form. Embodying a natural kind of minimalism and available with a matte white, matte black and bronzed finish base, the leather chair resembles a delicately folding flower petal.

Massaud has experience in a wide range of design fields, working in furniture and product design and even architecture. Aiming to achieve a sense of reduction and lightness in his work, Massaud’s Wallace lounge chair is a perfect example of his quest to represent what he describes as “the symbiosis between man, his creations and his natural environment”.
