More details have been released on the design of the Endurance 50m, FRO32, a fast displacement aluminum diesel-electric vessel, currently under construction at Italian yard, Rossinavi.
The exterior design of the tri-deck expedition yacht is by Enrico Gobbi of Team For Design, who has notified SuperyachtNews.com that the project is for a client of Rossinavi whose brief was for a modern vessel, but recalling a minimalist style.
FRO32 is characterised by the extensive usage of windows along her profile, the majority of which are floor to ceiling. The minimalist theme is also conveyed through the neutral colour scheme of beige and white.
The Endurance vessel has two Rolls Royce azimuthing pods, connected to two electrical Caterpillar engines. She will have a maximum speed of 16 knots.
Rossinavi is expecting to launch the FRO32 in 2017.
