The Horizontal Shower

Innovative bathroom specialist Dornbracht has taken the traditional notion of the shower to the next level with its Horizontal Shower...…

There is not much that can be done to make a shower easier or more relaxing than it already is but Dornbracht has made a good attempt with their latest product, the Horizontal Shower. Enabling you to shower while lying down, the water falls from the jets, either giving you an invigorating massage with varying water temperature or revitalising you with a more subtle rain shower.

With product design from Seiger, who also designed the Ambience Tuning Technique for Dornbracht (featured in Q5), the Horizontal Shower can send cascades of water in the same or in opposite directions using six outlets, or ‘WaterBars’, which are located above the heated stone tile bed. There are three programs available: Balancing, Energising and De-Stressing. Each setting combines various jets, regulating the pressure, temperature and amount of water used. The control panel is integrated into the upper part of the heated base for ease of use. The whole thing is designed to relax you entirely from top to toe.
