TSDF: The eight-week countdown begins!

Programme revealed for this year’s edition of The Superyacht Design Forum…

This year’s edition of The Superyacht Design Forum is unlike any other. We are stepping through the looking glass, beyond the realm of superyacht design and into other industries, to inspire fresh and exciting discussions from ‘An External Perspective’.

Home to an array of London’s most respected and leading design studios, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, will host us from 25th-26th June for a dynamic and interactive series of workshops, focus groups and brainstorms. Over the course of 48-hours we will bring together upwards of 200 delegates to look at our market and encourage a new way of thinking through diverse and fascinating topics, which have now been revealed in our programme.

We will unravel forward-thinking strategies from the ever-influential automotive industry, and provide an unfiltered insight into our increasing digital dependence on social media. Furthermore, we will explore the growing importance of virtual reality in the design process and delve into the world of artistry to explore materials of the future. Extracting new perspectives from these industries, we will invite debate about how external innovation can be applied to the superyacht industry and superyacht design.

Further to David Attenborough’s Netflix series, ‘Our Planet’, and the recent Extinction Rebellion protests that ground London to an emission-free halt, the continuing global focus on sustainability and conservation is something that we cannot ignore. We will look at the future of sustainable sailing through unique case studies, and tackle the minimisation of the superyacht design industry’s carbon footprint, from sketch to final product.

Our hand-selected keynote speakers and panellists will provide us with inspirational insights into their most visionary projects, and share their external perspectives on the superyacht industry, identifying problems and proposing solutions.

Register for your ticket here to join us in just eight weeks, as we question our industry’s way of thinking, and combine the thought processes of industry leaders, future thinkers and smart minds to create an unmissable edition of The Superyacht Design Forum.
