In the fourth month of the year, fleet activity continued apace. The most significant event of the month was undoubtedly the launch of the world's largest yacht, 180m Azzam, by Lurssen.
Apostrope - Dutch yard Hakvoort launched 40m Apostrophe (YN247), built for a Russian owner, on 13 April. Read more here.
Aziza - ISA Yachts launched 41m Aziza on 20 April. Designed by Andrea Vallicelli, the yacht was developed from ISA's 39m Classic platform. Read more here.
Azzam - A piece of superyacht history was made in April, with the launch of Azzam, at Lürssen in Germany. The 180m motoryacht is now officially the largest in the world. Read more here.
Encore – Built for repeat owners, Alloy Yachts launched 43.9m Encore on 29 April. The sloop has an interior by the Alloy design team and owners. Naval architecture and exterior design is by long-term collaborator with Alloy, Dubois Naval Architects. Read more here.
Event - The first Amels 199, Event was christened at the Amels yard in Vlissingen, Holland. A design collaboration between Tim Heywood and Laura Sessa, the 60m motoryacht will set out in a few weeks on her maiden voyage to Norway. Read more here

Alloy Yachts – TSR visited Alloy Yachts for a progress report on their three in-build projects: Encore (AY45), Mondango (AY46) and AY54. Read more here.
Aurora – Pacific Asian Enterprises launches 36.5m flagship Nordhavn 120, Aurora, for tank testing. Her delivery is now imminent. Read more here.
Canados 36m - After launching Far Away last year Canados has confirmed that her sister ship is going to be launched and delivered to her owner by Summer 2013. Exterior design and naval architecture are the work of Canados Design, while the interior was designed by Cristiano Gatto. Read more here.
New Orders
46m HJB - Holland Jachtbouw announced a new order for a 46m high performance sloop. Designed by Tripp Design, with an interior by Rhoades Young, the yacht is scheduled for delivery in Autumn 2015. Read more here.
Deliveries
Tango 5 - 35m Tango 5, the first yacht from Horizon Yachts' EP115 series has been delivered to her new owners. Designed for long cruises, she features a steel hull, a bulbous bow and a stern cockpit for fishing and diving. Read more here.
Refits
Infinity - Endeavour Quay have completed a refit on 30m Moonen Infinity. Work done included a full re-spray, fitting of new stabilisers and a complete 5 year class survey. Read more here.
Lady Moura - Blohm & Voss' 105m Lady Moura has undergone a refit on her blind windows, giving them a striking new marine grade blue tint appearance. Read more here.
