Monaco is fast approaching, and fleet activity levels remain high. July saw a good number of launches, and also positive news of new orders including a 52m and a 55m at Admiral Teconmar, brokered by Nakhimov.

New Launches


Andromeda - Costruzioni Navali Tigullio (C.N.T) launched 38m classic schooner, Andromeda, at its Castagnola shipyard in Lavagna, Italy. Read more here.



Azul 31
- Italyachts has launched Azul 31 in La Spezia. The 30.50m motoryacht, project managed by Whyko, is a semi-custom yacht built for an American owner for use principally in Southern Florida. Read more here.



Codecasa 42 - Codecasa launched Hull F75, the second superyacht in its Codecasa 42 Vintage Series, at their yard in Viareggio on June 27th. Read more here.



Framura 3 - Codecasa launched their biggest open superyacht on 22 June. 50m Framura 3 (Hull C120) was built for a repeat client. Read more here.



Happy Days – Custom Line (Ferretti Group) launched their first 112’ NEXT, Happy Days, at CRN in Ancona on 9 July, prior to her delivery to her Thai owner. The yacht is part of the line developed specifically for the Asia Pacific market. Read more here.



Julem I - Vicem Yachts launched the Vulcan 35m trideck, Julem I, the latest addition to its new composite construction line, and the follow up to the Vulcan 46m and the Vulcan 32m. Read more here.



Ileria - Proteksan Turquoise announced the launch of 50m displacement motoryacht Ileria (NB56) which took place in April this year. Built for an experienced owner, the order for Ileria was signed in August 2010. Read more here.



Invictus – Delta Marine launched 66m Invictus (Project Invader) in June and delivered her in July. Naval architecture is by the Delta Design Group, and interior design by Diane Johnson Design with Johnson, Wen, Mulder Architecture. Read more here.



Nameless
- Mondomarine launched 41m M/Y Nameless (Hull 18/8) at their Savona shipyard in the presence of her owners. 'Nameless' will be exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show 2013. Read more here.



Navetta 33’s - Ferreti Group's Custom Line brand launched two more superyachts from its hugely successful Navetta 33 range. Both vessels are destined for North American owners. Read more here.



Raffaella II - MCP Yachts hull number 085 Raffaella II launched in Brazil after 2.5 years of construction. She will now undergo final sea trials before delivery to her Brazilian owner. Read more here.



Therapy - Sanlorenzo launched their eighth SD122 model, 38m Therapy, built for her Turkish entrepeneur owner. Read more here.

Progress Reports

CMN stops superyacht construction – It was confirmed that Abu Dhabi MAR Group has put the yacht building division of French yard CMN on ice. The yard will now focus on the development of its military and commercial range. Read more here.

New Orders

33.3m Continental III - Wim Van der Valk shipyard in the Netherlands has announced its biggest project ever, with the signing of an order for a 33.3m yacht from its Continental Trawler range. Delivery is scheduled for April 2015. Read more here.

52m Admiral Tecnomar
- Nakhimov Yachts announced the sale of a 52m new construction project at the Admiral Tecnomar shipyard for one of their clients, with delivery set for 2016. This news followed that of a sale of a 55m order earlier in the month. Read more here.

55m Admiral Tecnomar - Nakhimov announced that they have signed an order for the construction of a 55m hybrid superyacht, to be built at Admiral Tecnomar. The all-aluminium yacht will deliver to her new owner in spring 2016. Read more here.

Project Sunset - Sunrise Yachts has announced the sale of the in-build 45m Project Sunset to a North-American owner. The yacht is the second vessel in the Sunrise 45m series and will deliver in summer 2014. Read more here.

RP110 - Horizon Yachts has received a new order for hull three of their RP110 Raised Pilothouse model. The superyacht is scheduled to deliver to her Japanese owner in mid-2014. Read more here.

Deliveries

Agora
- The new Horizon RP105 raised pilothouse yacht, Agora, set off on her maiden voyage to meet her owner in Japan, after completing the last of her sea trials in July. Read more here.

Sea Owl
- Feadship's 62m Sea Owl, which has a unique hull colour and an elaborate interior, was delivered to her owners at a special ceremony at Amsterdam's Maritime Museum. The event was staged by the owners for 800 guests as thanks for the project's success. Read more here.

Quaranta - Quaranta, the 33.7m catamaran that was the brainchild of Curvelle and manufactured by Logos Marine, has been delivered following her February launch. Read more here.

Refits

Derecktor Florida - Derecktor Florida has reported 20 refit projects completed this year and a further seven underway. Jon Bannenberg-designed superyacht 46m The Highlander is due to undergo a major mechanical and interior refit and 55m Belle Aimee has finished a major interior refit. Read more here.

Espiritu del Xarey - This summer 43m S/Y Espiritu del Xarey will enjoy a thorough refit, including an upgrade to the electrical systems by Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology. Read more here.

Utopia - The 71.6m Feadship Utopia has completed a refit at the Feadship yard, comprising extensive repainting work on the superstructure and hull, as well as mechanical upgrades. Read more here.
