Fleet activity continues apace, and Lurssen in particular had a busy month with the launches of 92.5m Kismet and 104m Quantum Blue and the refit of 68.15m Global. Launches
46m Baglietto - Baglietto launched the first superyacht from its 46m displacement range, designed by Francesco Paszkowski. Read more here.
48m SuperSport – Palmer Johnson launched their first 48m SuperSport, with a distinctive gold hull and black superstructure. Read more here.
Cheers 46 - Benetti launched the latest superyacht in its Veloce 140’ composite range, Cheers 46. The 42m yacht is part of Benetti’s Fast Displacement class, based around its in-house D2P hull design. Read more here.
Kismet – Lürssen launched the 95.2m Project Global, which is due to be christened Kismet. She has been built for a repeat client, who has upgraded from his 68m Lürssen yacht. Read more here.
Nono – 37m Nono, designed by Luca Dini, is Admiral Tecnomar Group’s sixth launch of 2014. Read more here.
Perseus 3 - The Perini Navi Group launched 60m sloop, Perseus3, the second in a series designed by the in-house team in collaboration with Ron Holland. Read more here.
Quantum Blue - On 25 July, 2014, German shipyard Lürssen Yachts launched its 104m motoryacht, Quantum Blue, designed by Tim Heywood. Read more here.
Deliveries
Bliss - Palmer Johnson’s 52.4m Bliss, formerly Project Apollo, has been delivered to her owner, according to the project management team at Moran Yacht & Ship. Read more here.
D’Natalin IV - Christensen Yachts has delivered the trideck 48.78m D’Natalin IV , which is significantly, the first Custom Series yacht to be delivered by the shipyard since the 2008 global recession. Read more here.
New Orders
Sunseeker 168 Sport Yacht - Sunseeker has revealed that it is to build its largest ever model, the 168 Sport Yacht. The 51.2m superyacht will be launched in 2017. Read more here.
Swan 115 - Nautor’s Swan has announced the sale of the fourth hull in its range of Swan 115 sailing yachts. The 35m vessel will be launched in 2016. Read more here.
Refits
Global - Lürssen has undertaken a refit on M/Y Global (ex Kismet), with work completing at the end June. The 68.15m yacht was originally delivered by the yard in 2007, with Morley Yachts now acting as the owner's representative and Hill Robinson supervising the recent refit. Read more here.
Volpini - Volpini, the 49.3m Amels build, has left the Amels yard following an extensive refit, which included a 10-year class survey. Read more here.
