Studioart's spring and summer offering

UK, London. London Design Week is well underway at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, with showrooms across the famous domes launching new collections for the new year. At Rubelli London, Italian leather company Studioart launched its 2015 Leather Collection, which presented a fresh take on its leather wall tiles and upholstery leather.


The colourways of the new collection embody the light, fresh tones of spring and summer; whites, creams, dusky blue and pale rose, with more punchy reds and blues for summer. Conceived for both contemporary and traditional interiors, the collection features standout designs with golden and transparent layering, geometrical reliefs and textures that play with light and shadow. As with all Studioart leather collections, the range can be used for any type of upholstery including cushions, poufs, sofas and armchairs, as well as the leather walls the company is known for. Each style is designed in-house and crafted from premium European raw materials at the family tannery in the leather region of Vicenza, Italy.


As well as leather for Studioart's interior range, the tannery also supplies leather to some of the world's top fashion houses. The creative conception of Nadia and Gianfranco Dalle Mese, Studioart started working on leather for interiors in 2006 and has been the successful next step for the luxury leather that has made the Dalle Mese family's tannery a fashion designer favourite for almost a quarter of a century.
