Southern Wind has launched 29m Windfall in Cape Town, South Africa.

The performance sailing yacht, designed by Reichel Pugh and Nauta Design, was launched on 11 November ahead of her maiden voyage in January 2013. She will journey the 7300 nm to the Med where she embarks on an intensive year of cruising and races.

Rolex Volcano Race, Loro Piana Superyacht regatta, Maxi Rolex Cup and Les Voiles de Saint Tropez are all listed by the shipyard amongst her possible itinerary. She will also be at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Windfall is a light displacement yacht with sharp lines combined with modern and functional interiors.

She joins sistership Kiboko Dos as prime examples of the racing oriented semi-custom production line from Southern Wind.
