Rosetti Superyachts unveils new 52m concept

Italian shipyard, Rosetti Superyachts (RSY) has unveiled a new 52m supply vessel concept during the Monaco Yacht Show. Developed in collaboration with Italian designer Giovanni Griggo of Phi Design Lab, the new project has been created to combine the functional elements of a supply vessel, with the luxury finish of a superyacht.

The new project has an extended 142sqm aft deck to allow for more exterior guest space and carrying capacity for tenders and toys. This area can also be transformed into an 80sqm beach club, by deploying the folding hull doors on both sides that open to create two terraces over the sea.

“We are very proud to introduce to the market a new concept, but moreover a new trend,” says Fulvio Dodich, RSY Partner, Chairman & CEO. “We are a forward-looking shipyard and we love to work with different architects to offer different approaches to the same category of yachts. It is important for us to demonstrate our flexibility in offering different supply vessel concepts. Giovanni is a talented young designer and he immediately understood the DNA of the company.”

The interiors of the new 52m superyacht have been laid out around a central saloon, which has been based on an asymmetrical layout that features a chaise longue that extends the length of the room on the port side and two sofas to starboard.

“I was looking to provide added value with design elements that make this project a unique proposal. The bio-mimicry that characterises some of the exterior areas, for example, was inspired by the organic structures of leaves.”

The lower deck provides accommodation for eight guests across four cabins which will would be styled to the tastes and requirements of the owner. Forward on the yacht’s lower deck there are four berths for eight crew members, while the captain’s cabin is situated on the upper deck next to the wheelhouse.
