Raytheon's Synapsis system enhances user experience
Raytheon Anschütz will exhibit its Synapsis integrated navigation system in Monaco, which the company claims is the first IMO-compliant system of its kind.…
The company claims its enhanced system, which has been installed on two of the show’s most eagerly anticipated yachts – Equanimity and Solandge - is the first of its kind to comply with recently introduced IMO INS Performance Standards.
The most notable improvement is in the management of bridge alarms and targeting, with the display simplified and optimised. There is also the option to save multiple user settings for individual applications or the entire system. This can be used to create individual profiles or standardised settings for operations such as docking or open water cruising.
Raytheon Anschütz will also be promoting its Synapsis NX workstations, which can be installed as modules or a complete bridge system, offering improved scalability and openness.
