Proteksan Turquoise's 72.6m 'Vicky' completes sea trials
Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise has sea trialled its largest superyacht to date, the 72.6m 'Vicky', or hull NB54. Launched on 7 May 2012, she will be delivered to her owner at the end of this month.…
Vicky is a collaboration between the Proteksan Turquoise in-house naval architecture team and H2 Yacht Design, following on directly from the yard’s last launch of this same collaboration for the 70.54m Talisman C.
The Turkish shipyard has hailed the Vicky’s forward deck with circular helipad as a defining feature of the 72.6m motoryacht. The superyacht, with sweeping curves and glazed upper windows, is powered by twin 2447 BHP Caterpillas, and can reach a top speed of 17 knots.
