Princess Yachts launch 40m motoryacht
English yard Princess Yachts has launched the third 40m hull from its M Class superyacht range at their South Yard facility.…
Hull three’s naval architecture and exterior is by Princess Yachts International and Bernard Olesinski, while her interior is a collaboration between the Princess Tailor Made interior design team and Mark Berryman.
The 40m tri-deck superyacht can accommodate 12 guests, with separate accommodation for seven crew. She has a beam of 8m and a draught of 2.3m. Powered by two MTU 12V 4000 M73L engines, she can reach a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of approximately 20 knots. She is now undergoing final outfitting.
The M Class range was launched at the start of 2011, with the 32M being presented at the London International Boat Show. The first 40M, Imperial Princess, was launched in May 2012.
In 2014 Princess Yachts will be adding a 35m model to the M Class range, which the yard report they have already taken a number of orders for. It will be a semi-custom morotyacht that will accommodate 10 guests and up to six crew.
