Permare launches 35m superyacht 'Il Gattopardo'
Italian shipyard Permare has launched the second superyacht in its Amer 116' series. In the midst of economic difficulty, the launch of the 35.4m 'Il Gattopardo' is promising for the shipyard.…
The superyacht, which has been engineered by Massimo Verme, features three suites and three crew cabins, and is a vessel of comfort with high-level insulation and strong stability obtained by a complex study concerning the distribution of the yacht’s weight. Il Gattopardo, whose interiors have been designed by CGA Architectes Associats Barcellona, also features a crystal and metal lift that connects the lower deck to the main deck and the wheelhouse on the fly deck, which features a mini-pool as part of its custom arrangement.
Asked about Permare’s level of business, Amerio told SuperyachtNews.com: “Honestly, it could be better, but we have trust in the future and in our company, so we have invested in the new Amercento, and have started a new build to propose to the export market.”
Announcing that the shipyard has recently sold some second-hand boats, Amerio said, “the most important thing is to not feel depressed and to be dynamic.”
