PE Marine Designz releases new hinges

PE Marine Designz has released two new hinges. The first is a 180° opening concealed hinge for 8mm panels and the second, a 172° opening concealed hinge for a 20mm locker door and frame assembly.
 
The 8mm panel hinge is for SFP-022-309 service flap type applications.
 
Sold as a separate hinge or as part of a flanged frame assembly, it enables the door or panel to stay open at varying degrees up to 180° or closed.
 
The panel installation can be used for applications such as electrical panels or fuel filler pockets, where a narrow gap of 3mm is required around the door edge when closed. With an overall depth of 46mm, inclusive of the panel thickness, this hinge occupies one of the smaller space envelopes for medium weight panels.

 
The 20mm locker door and frame assembly hinge is for LKR-021-005 glue-on flanged frame locker doors complete with hinging and latching.
 
The door installation is primarily for medium to larger locker doors in bulwarks and has a 6.3mm gap around the edge when closed. With an overall depth of 55mm inclusive of the panel thickness this design incorporates a new design slam latch and IP55 breather vent.

 
Materials for both hinges are marine-grade compliant. The 20mm locker door and frame assembly hinge is supplied with anodised aluminium for the customer to paint.
