49.7m M/Y Vango has been sold, with Northrop & Johnson representing the seller and International Yacht Collection (IYC) representing the buyer. The yacht had a final asking price of $19.95 million.

Soon to be renamed as M/Y 'Trending', the tri-deck was built by Westport in 2006 and is due to have an interior upgrade and an exterior refit to provide a clean and contemporary feel for the new owner.

Mark Elliott, who completed the sale on behalf of the buyer, and now has the yacht listed for charter with IYC, said "We are delighted to have 'Trending' join our charter fleet". The yacht has an elevator, helicopter capability and six staterooms, of which the owner's stateroom has a private office and a sitting room.

Additionally, she has twin 3650 16V 4000 M90 diesel engines that allow an impressive maximum speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. Her 2.4m draft allows access to shallower waters, providing a great charter option.
