New year, new identity

The events division of The Superyacht Group decided it was time to shake things up…

Since getting back to work in the new year, the first couple of months have been spent mapping out our strategy for the year ahead and defining exactly how we are going to achieve our target of working ‘smarter together’.

After the resounding success of The Superyacht Forum in November, and with our upcoming event, The Superyacht Design Forum, held at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, just around the corner in June, the events division of The Superyacht Group decided it was time to shake things up with a re-brand!

We see a bright future and huge growth potential in the number of events that will be executed over the coming months and years, and, therefore, we have decided to re-brand our products and services into a more consolidated identity. So, over the next couple of days, expect to see these news logos come into place!

This will ensure brand consistency throughout the business and will, therefore, be easier to maintain. We want the brand to tell a clear story, not just about events, but our entire company, and so we have developed the events brand to align with the rest of our flagship products – The Superyacht Report and SuperyachtNews.

We have mapped out the hierarchy of our events with The Superyacht Forum as our parent event. The Superyacht Forum, for those who aren’t already aware, is our flagship event which is held annually in Amsterdam, alongside METSTRADE Show. The event sees over 800 of the market’s top decision makers gather for a three-day meeting of minds that develops ideas from both within and outside the superyacht industry. The “satellite forums” that fall under The Superyacht Forum, will be identifiable to corresponding issues of The Superyacht Report, and will, therefore, align with our editorial strategy to recognise those topics that are of greatest interest and benefit to the market.

Our upcoming satellite event is The Superyacht Design Forum, held at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour in June. The Superyacht Design Forum exists to present the design world with a platform on which to exchange ideas, insights and experiences in an inspiring environment. The 2019 event’s theme is An External Perspective’. Luminaries from outside the world of superyacht design will be invited to offer their thoughts on our fascinating industry. Using lessons learned from myriad industries, a number of visionaries will impart their wisdom and offer a new perspective on the world of superyacht design. Discussions will be rich, diverse and compelling, so click here to register for your ticket today.

Watch this space for more upcoming satellite events in 2019!
