The installation was remarkably simple, being totally wireless, and was completed and tested in one day by Sambronie after an initial site inspection.
The hardware looks the part and it’s very simple to set up and operate. The alarm (should it go off) is unmistakable from other systems on board.
The system only goes live when helm controls are in Auto Pilot and therefore not whilst manoeuvring in port. Wireless is the way forward when retro-fitting such equipment.
