Mayra Yachts has moved its new 50m superyacht – now christened Euphoria – out of the construction shed in preparation for her launch - scheduled for two weeks’ time. The Turkish superyacht builder has announced that after three years of planning and construction, 50m superyacht Euphoria, will leave Antalya in mid July and officially join the rest of the fleet at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show.

Designed by world renowned designer Ken Freivokh, 50m Euphoria marks Mayra’s shift into the contemporary superyacht market, with its unique sweeping exterior lines and powerful looking hull. This contemporary theme is also continued through to the interior styling, which is minimalist - with a natural colour scheme apart form the occasional dash of colour, which adds another dimension to the yacht.

Euphoria will have the capacity to accommodate 10 guests in five cabins, and nine crewmembers. She will have a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. The superyacht is also up for sale through the shipyard.

Upon her launch in two weeks’ time, the 50m superyacht will be the first superyacht Mayra has launched over 30m – marking the Turkish shipyard’s official entry into the superyacht market. Furthermore, Mayra’s activity in the superyacht market is set to continue, as there is currently a 45.5m classic sailing yacht under construction at the yard, scheduled to be delivered in 2017.

Following the launch, Euphoria will undergo an intensive sea trialling month where the new vessel will be put through her paces prior to her delivery, currently scheduled for the middle of July.
