Edmiston has announced three new CAs and two sales in a lively climax to the swift moving first quarter of 2016. Two of the new CAs were delivered in the last five years and the other is due for delivery this year.

On 16 March, Firefly, the 35.2m Claasen Jachtbouw build that was delivered in 2011, was listed for sale with Alex Busher and Alex Koersvelt for an asking price of €2.95 million (VAT paid). Firefly is a high-performance F-Class racer – substantiated by her Lloro Piana Superyacht Cup and Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup accolades in 2014. She will be ready for new ownership in the summer and is available for inspection in Palma, Spain, upon request.

On 22 March, the 82m expedition yacht, Vard 1 – 08 Kilkea – due for delivery this year – was listed for sale with Nick Burleigh and Peter Jones for $62 million. Her innovative lines are adept for explorative cruising and, upon delivery, will be one of the largest out-and-out explorer yachts on the water. Her exterior is the work of renowned designer Bannenberg & Rowell Design, whilst the interior remains open to input from a buyer.

The two sales were made by the Monaco-based firm in the space of two days. On 21 March, Shamrock V, which had a final asking price of €6 million, was sold in an in-house deal. The 36.6m Camper & Nicholsons build was delivered in 1930 and is the only wooden J Class on the water.

Tanit’s €2.05 million price reduction at the start of March was enough to entice a buyer at it’s reduced €4.95 million asking price; she was sold on 22 March. The 45.6m motoryacht was built in 1967 by Camper & Nicholsons and is fresh from a €1.4 million winter refit at SCT, Croatia.
