'Furst' explorer yacht delivered in Ancona
The 25m explorer yacht 'Furst 60' has been delivered by Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) in Ancona.…
Furst 60, a steel and aluminium motoryacht, is described by the yard as a 'one-off'. Her owner wanted a yacht that was the 'essence' of the explorer yacht and so the blue marine colour of the hull, the high bow and every detail has been designed to evoke a typical Nordic Tug. Increased safety, toughness and reliability are her hallmarks.
CdM's yacht is installed with Moteurs Baudouin single engine and screw, typically found on commercial and fishing boats. These engines have a long life and low running costs owing to their primary purpose for heavy duty applications.
Hinting at the the commitment of her owner to exploration, one of the guest cabins has been modified upon his request to a cold and dry storage space.
The private ceremony for the delivery was held in Ancona in late July, with selected guests. The owner asked Ennio Cecchini, CEO of Cantiere delle Marche, to open the ceremony.
