Fugico Paintworks produces portable spraying booth

Fugico Paintworks B.V has launched the superyacht industry’s first mobile spray booth. The innovative creation eliminates transport costs and allows work to be economically outsourced to subcontractors, or conducted by in-house staff, as assembly and disassembly are very straightforward processes.


Fugico’s founder comes from a long tradition of paint application in the automotive and truck industries, and this expertise has been applied to the concept of its portable booth:  a mobile system of paint application that removes logistical and transport issues (no extra facilities besides electrical power are needed), raises efficiency, and considers the environment.

The booth is also a sustainable venture, equipped with modern air and VOC control systems, renewed electro static spray guns and Ionization systems to reduce welding emissions and metal dust.

The inflatable paint booth allows the spraying of a vessel to be conducted under the most convenient circumstances for the shipyard, making it an innovative and practical addition to the industry.
