Italian shipyard CRN, one of the Ferretti Group's superyacht brands, has announced that its latest project, M/Y 135 has been delivered. With a LOA of 79m, the new project will make her international debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, where she will be the 11th largest vessel present at the event.

Designed by architects Zuccon International Project in close collaboration with the CRN Technical Office, the new 79m vessel is the second largest project that the shipyard has delivered to date, behind M/Y 80m Chopi Chopi in 2013. The new project is also the result of a long-standing design relationship between Zuccon International Project and CRN, having designed a total of 27 exteriors of the CRN fleet.

The delivery of M/Y 135, brings the CRN fleet up to a total of 71 superyachts, with a cumulative LOA of 3412.6m. From 2009 onwards, CRN has made the 6th largest contribution to the Italian fleet.

For the yacht’s interiors, the details of which are yet to be disclosed, Laura Sessa was the designer of choice, who has also completed the interiors of three CRN projects to date.

The shipyard has reported that the new 79m project fulfils the wishes of a selective and determined owner.

Earlier this year, the Ferretti Group disclosed a continuing growth trend, proved by the group’s net profit after taxes in 2018, which climbed to €31 million that year, 29 per cent higher than in 2017. As reported in April 2019, the Ferretti Group’s consolidated production value has reached €699 million and total assets exceeding €1.1 billion.

Furthermore, between 2014 and 2018, the Feretti Group shareholders collectively invested €154 million in research & development, as well as reinvesting all profits earned back into the business.

There are currently four superyachts under construction at CRN, one of which (CRN 62m M/Y 137) is also scheduled for delivery this year.
