Charter Update
An update of charter activity in the month preceding the Antigua Charter Show…
Camper & Nicholsons has already confirmed some of its existing motor yachts for the event: Feadhship’s 53.3m Hurricane Run, Benetti’s 49.08m Jo, Trinity’s 42.9m Anjilis, Holland Jachtbouw’s 42.28m Calliope, Intermarine Savannah’s 36.58m Chosen One, as well as Nautor’s Swan’s 34.3m sailing yacht Mystery.
A new addition to the Camper & Nicholsons fleet, and showing at Antigua, is the 42.9m sailing yacht Koo. Built by Dutch shipyard Vitters, Koo reaches speeds under sail of up to 15 knots and accommodates 8 guests. In the winter season she will charter the Caribbean, at a rate from $100,000 per week.
Another new addition announced this week, though not showing at Antigua, is the 41.7m motor yacht Il Cigno. Built in 1985 by Nicolini, she was refit in 2004. The yacht, who can accommodate 10 guests, will be available for charter in the West and East Caribbean over Winter and Summer, and her price is from $82,000 per week.
Y.CO has announced the new addition of Big Fish to its charter fleet this week. The 45m motor yacht, built by Aquos Yachts, by McMullen & Wing, won two awards at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last week. She is currently in the Canary Islands, en-route to the Antigua Charter Show, and several weeks of charter have already been booked for the Caribbean holiday season. Next year she will return to the South Pacific, where she still stay for the duration of the Winter charter season. She will sail via the Panama Canal, by which time she will have completed 45,000nm of cruising on her own bottom, touching six continents in the process.
