Benetti celebrates more success in 2019

The Italian yard announces the sale of the first unit of its Diamond 145 model…

Benetti has announced the sale of its first Diamond 145, the new flagship in their Class product line. The Italian Shipyard wanted to create a yacht that symbolises power and balance and Benetti’s CEO Franco Fusignani is very pleased with the result: “Diamond 145 was presented only four months ago but right from the design stage we realised it was a model with incredible potential, representing the perfect synthesis of the core features of the Benetti Displacement Class across its entire history.”

Thanks to the work of Giorgio M. Cassetta, this 44m displacement yacht boasts clean exterior lines that flatter the proportions of a large yacht, with extremely long reverse sheer line and high hull sides. It’s glazed surfaces accentuate its length and ensures the interiors are flooded with natural light.

The spacious interiors, customised to the owner’s taste, feature curved lines and light colourways that gives the yacht a timeless elegance. Another feature is the glossy surfaces in the saloons and cabins. The master cabin, which occupies the bow area on the main deck, is full-beam with a large wardrobe, full-beam bathroom and office.

On the main deck are the galley and services area with a big saloon towards the stern. The owner requested more space in the lounge area for larger sofas, so the dining area has been moved to the upper deck. The lower deck contains four guest cabins and a separate area for crew accommodation. Outside, a low table and various sofas allows countless opportunities to relax both at sea and at anchor.

An increasingly popular feature on board yachts, the beach club is found at the stern, designed to be at water level, this is a stunning feature that makes the space both independent and versatile.

Two 1,400 hp Man engines which drive this sophisticated model to a top speed of 15 knots and at a cruising speed of 11 knots, it has a range of 3,800 nautical miles.

According to The Superyacht Intelligence Agency, Benetti are expected to launch 18 new yachts this year, which will be their most prolific year in the last decade.
