The German Frers designed, Baltic 107 Inukshuk has been launched. The launch of the lightweight, 32.64m high performance sloop took place last week at the waterfront facilities of Baltic Yachts in Jakobstad, Finland.

With a total displacement of 78232kg (light craft), of which 31612kg is ballast, Inukshuk has considerable power to weight ratio. It follows her prime purpose: fast, efficient and comfortable cruising.

The telescopic keel enables draft to vary from 3.35m to 4.85m without interfering with the interior layout. The carbon rig is supported by carbon fibre rigging, typical of her high performance credentials.

Interior styling by Adam Lay reveals a ‘modern’ and ‘elegant’ interior with oak as the primary wood. She has an owner-forward, crew-aft layout with a generous VIP cabin just forward of the mast. This sits adjacent to an owner’s study, which leads to a capacious en-suite owner’s cabin in the bow. Raised saloon, two guest cabins and a children’s cabin complete the guest arrangement. The commercial standard galley, twin-crew cabins and head make up the crew accommodation.

Sea trials take place in Jakobstad over the summer. Baltic 107 Inukshuk will make its world premier at the Monaco Yacht Show later this year in September.
