A glimpse of Feadship's hull #696

Feadship reveals hull #696, its newest edition to the fleet…

The latest Feadship has emerged from the Aalsmeer shed, as revealed by the organisation’s own social media account.

Scheduled for delivery towards the end of 2017, hull #696 is the latest 69m steel-hulled displacement superyacht from the Dutch builder and the fourth Feadship to be launched in 2017. This brings Feadship’s total meterage of launched yachts for 2017 to 212m, and for this decade, an impressive 2,733.6m.

The distinctly soft-spoken and elegant exterior has been penned by De Voogt Naval Architects while interior spaces are the shared vision of British design house Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD), whose impressive portfolio includes the exterior design of Ernesto Bertarelli’s 96m Vava II, as well as the exterior and interior elements of Royal Huisman’s 57.5m ketch Twizzle.

RWD, in conjunction with De Voogt, has created living quarters for 12, split across four staterooms, one VIP suite and one owner’s suite.

Twin V12 CAT 3512 C engines form the stern power plant, affording the 69m superyacht a top speed of 16.4 knots and a projected range of 5,000 nautical miles.

As Feadship states, ‘more is to come’; we wait, poised, eagerly awaiting more details of the esteemed yard’s latest nautical vision.
