46m Admiral new build signed by The Italian Sea Group

The major shipbuilding conglomerate has signed a new order, which is due for delivery in 2020…

Admiral, the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group, one of the largest superyacht building conglomerates in the world, has signed a new order for a 46m superyacht.

The contemporary style motoryacht will be built entirely of aluminium, with a displacement hull, and to a design that was been developed in-house by the group’s research and development team.

The premise for the design of the yacht was to create a deep sensory connection to the sea. As such, the vessel will feature a large beach club, and the interior will be very beamy, with high ceilings and large, bright interior spaces. She is due for delivery in May 2020.

In a statement to the press, Giuseppe Taranto, vice chairman of The Italian Sea Group, said: “We are happy and satisfied for the sale of this new yacht, which further strengthens the leadership of our group not only as a yacht builder, but also in creating innovative design lines which perfectly fit the wishes of the client.”

In May this year, Admiral delivered the 73.2m explorer yacht, Planet Nine, which has become a flagship product for the brand. According to The Superyacht Intelligence Agency, Admiral currently has a busy order book, comprising 11 yachts between 40 and 76m, with delivery slots stretching through until 2021.
