Alutek - protecting aluminium hulls against corrosion

Aluminium has the appearance of being a stable material, but when other metals are in close proximity (e.g.prop shafts and propellers) serious corrosion can occur. The Alutek ICCP system prevents hull corrosion using special monitoring and controlling electrodes to ensure that the optimum amount of current to neutralise corrosion is always applied. Anodes are reference electrodes are small, flush mounted and very light, so there is nothing to cause extra drag or interrupt the smooth lines of the yacht.
