Custom tender specialist X-Craft has launched a new model: the X8.5. X-Craft’s portfolio now consists of three basic models that can be customised in a variety of ways, with regards technological extras and design features.

The X8.5 is in between the X8.0 and the X9.0 in length, but it has more deck space. The first model was delivered to an American owner this summer; the vessel is equipped with two Mercury Verado 149.14kW engines, pushing the boat to speeds of up to 65kn.   The new owner commented: “X-Craft has delivered a fantastic piece of work. It’s a superb boat, and all of my wishes have been implemented with always a view to quality and design. When I pull into the marina to fill up, all the people on the wharf turn their heads.”

X-craft emphasised that, “whilst this vessel can be a speed machine, they can also be used as safe and stable tenders to superyachts”.
