A stylish way to stay safe
Tribord has launched its Izeber Jacket, a lifejacket styled as a gilet providing 50 Newtons of buoyancy.…
The Izeber is made of strips of polyethylene that contain air pockets. ‘Micro-beads’ equip the material with the flexible properties that make the jacket comfortable to wear on deck.
Despite its everyday appearance, the Izeber jacket is still a technical garment, as it provides guests and crew with protection against the cold and wind, and safety in ‘man overboard’ scenarios. It is also reversible, revealing its fluorescent orange side with integrated reflectors, increasing sailors’ visibility if necessary.
