THG's new bathroom collection

Bagatelle, the latest collection to be created by French designer Olivier Gagnère for THG, which the company boasts is “a bathroom suite to be played with.” Launched at Maison & Objet earlier this year, the Bagatelle collection was inspired by a table game originating from a 1777 royal party, which subsequently evolved into the pinball machine.

Gagnère’s design is a modern, eclectic take on luxury bathrooms with the handles, knobs and buttons of the faucet revolving around the signature elements of a pinball machine. “By injecting playfulness into THG’s tradition of high luxury and hand craftsmanship, Gagnère has created a witty and highly original bathroom collection that is perfect for entertainment rooms of royal palaces, luxury yachts and the finest homes”, says the Paris-based producer.

Finished in glossy gold and available with metal, fine crystal or black obsidian inlays, the collection consists of faucets with matching shower systems that can be configured in a number of ways to include theromastic valves, multi-port diverters and volume controls.
