ITALY, Milan. During Salone del Mobile 2016, Bugatti, the renowned supercar manufacturer, unveiled its new furniture line, the Bugatti Home Collection. Bugatti hopes to combine traditional French luxury with the brand’s prolific legacy and the vision of its founder Ettore Bugatti. The Bugatti brand is not new to furniture design, indeed Carlo Bugatti penned many a piece for himself, some of which are now exhibited in museums around the world.

“Bugatti Home collection is a tribute to the flamboyant spirit which characterises this most famous automotive brand,” says Alberto Vignatelli, CEO of the Luxury Living Group. “This furniture represents the unique style and the heart of Bugatti dominated by its key values Art, Forme, Technique”.

The Bugatti Home Collection has retained a number of the characteristic stylings that defines its supercar range, such as the two-tone colour scheme, the Bugatti line and the horseshoe-shaped front grille. These calling cards have been transferred from the cars to the furniture, swapping aerodynamics for comfort. Carbon fibre frames, made from the same material as the Bugatti hulls, highlight the attention that has been paid to quality and technology.

“Our distinctive character is increasingly moving towards a Bugatti global lifestyle,” comments Massimiliano Ferrari, head of Bugatti Brand Lifestyle for Bugatti Automobiles. “By complementing fashion and accessories with an interior design proposal, we are taking another step ahead. Luxury Living Group is the ideal partner to accomplish this project as we share the same vision of ultra-luxury”.

The Bugatti Home Collection is a seven-piece collection covering chairs, tables, desks and a bed. The colour palette was developed using Bugatti’s historical colours, mixed and combined in an elegant use of shades. Royale Blue, nuances of light blue and neutral tones such as silver grey, cashmere warm grey and classic cognac dominate the palette.
